Actually, they don't. Biggio's and Alomar's stats for the '90s are pretty close. Biggio had more games played, plate appearanes, at-bat, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, stolen bases, walks, total bases, HBP, higher OBP and about half as many GIDP. Alomar had higher RBI, batting average, slugging and OPS, and fewer strikeouts and caught stealing. Overall their stats are pretty comparable and I think arguments could be made either way.

Looking at how they ranked in mvp voting and the fact Robbie made AS appearances every year from 1990 to 1999, i don't think the fans agree...
I just found a poll from 2000 (right after the 90s) for what the fans thought at that time....check it out applicable to this thread.
