I agree but why not grade but leave authentic? I guess to have in slabs but they're not in good shape, so just to protect them? Not a bad idea I guess.

I bought them that way from a big Griffey collector a few years ago and he probably just wanted them protected with the cases. He obviously didn't think they would grade well being like most thicker cards. I'm not a big fan of graded cards anyways. Good idea in my opinion!

Those are awesome! He is definitely in the same class as Griffey in being one of the greatest players to ever play the game! The mantle is a jersey swatch not a patch.
