Zach Greinke

[All The Hype]

Haven't heard anything about this guy yet this year, but he is off to perhaps the best start of any pitcher in the majors so far with a 3-0 record, a 0.00 ERA, and 26 Ks in 20 innings pitched. Who would have predicted this? It's still early, buy this kinda reminds me of Cliff Lee last year.

And I bring this up because it looks like Porcello is scheduled to pitch against him on Friday. Can't wait

Well when Grienke came up I was expecting big things out of him. Hopefully he's finally starting to get into his groove.

The difference is that Greinke has dominant stuff, was a top prospect, and is young enough to really develop into a legit ace for the next few years (even after last season maybe weren't sold on Lee.) This means the investment potential on his cards is far greater.

If you haven't heard anything about him, that's your own fault. He's been mentioned quite a bit. He has a 34 consecutive scoreless innings streak going. Shutting out the Rangers in Texas should help get people's attention. He's a bona fide ace.
