Can you name me one professional ball player that hasn't overreacted and has been not thrown out of a game?

I can't remember (I'm sure it has happened, but not often) the last time a pitcher spiked the ball on the ground while it was still in play....

Exactly. Helmets get spiked, bats get tossed, arguing of balls of strikes, pitchers swearing on the mound.....there are so many competitive players and what happened to Greinke was that he was upset at himself and did something "unprofessional". I would be more pissed if a player didn't show some emotion in the game.

Correlating with my post above, breaking of bats, slamming helmets, punching water coolers, swearing on the field, etc...they all don't have the possibility of a runner advancing a base or scoring b/c of your stupidity. Greinke spiked the ball before the umpire called time.

Is there something besides being diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder that makes Zack Greinke a headcase? What has he ever done that makes people question his brain so much? Seriously, I'm not trying to be an ass here. Did something happen in K.C.? Cause for the year-and-a-half he's been in Milwaukee he's caused absolutely no issues with us....except for the basketball game but that was a totally different situation.

He's been a complete professional in Milwaukee.

Listen to an interview or two some time, he can get out there at times. Also it wasn't that he was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder...as I'm sure there are quite a few players that have it, but he missed a chunk of time for it

I was more referring to the spiking of the ball, no offense to anyone with s.a.d (LOL that's puny).

More than anything glad Rangers didn't trade top prospects for a rent-a-player. Cliff Lee leaving really stung. I want to see them get another bat or reliever over a SP.

I hear that. Maybe he had to get his ducks in a row. But it's like people consider him pseudo-insane or something.

More than anything else I think this helps the Angles in the event they end up in the wild card game without the chance to pitch their best starter. Now at least one of the 4 is likely pitching verse whatever the other team has. Which is likely not to be the best they have going.
