Back to back 7 inning scoreless starts to finish last year, plus scoreless starts of 6 and 5 innings this year.

Pretty impressive. It seems like he has been pitching a long time, but he is only 25.

He has already had 3 seasons with 100 innings pitched and an ERA+ of 120 or higher. Only 7 other pitchers in MLB history have had more than 3 such seasons before turning 25: http://www.bb-ref.com/play-index/shareit/6A9F

Some pretty good names at the top of that list:
Walter Johnson
Christy Mathewson
Bert Blyleven
Gary Nolan
Bob Feller
Wes Ferrell
Smokey Joe Wood

I predicted Greinke would continue his "breakout" production & further his progression into a true staff ace this year! I know he is only 2 start's in but this is VERY encouraging! A comical side note is that it seems the hobbyist's don't really care (not much upward movement on his Rc Auto's/B.Chrome Rc's & Refractor Rc's)... More for me! 8-)

What team did Alex Gordon play on again?

The Nebraska Corn Huskers.

His hype is what drove his prices. Greinke's cards will suffer because there is A) no hype for him B) He pitches in KC

I believe he is a good pitcher, but his card prices are never going to be ridiculously high like Gordon's.

When it comes down to pitchers, a guy in contention for the Cy or piling up a ton of strike outs will create enough hype; forget about market.

See: Jake Peavy, Tim Lincecum.

That's Buster Olney for you ;)

I'm still waiting for the Cy Young that Peter Gammons told me Kris Benson was going to win with the Pirates.

David
Rangers you mean???????No clue why he's our #4 guy...I'd rather have 17 year old Martin Perez out there...

He played for the Pirates. I think he started on the Pirates then went to the Mets then went to the Orioles then to the Rangers, but I could be a bit off.
