Zumaya signs with Minnesota

As a Tigers fan, I have mixed feelings about this. I always wanted him to comeback and pitch like it was 2006 all over again. But I can see management's view on this decision. You gotta cut bait on a guy who has not pitched a full year in five seasons. I just hope he doesn't come back to haunt the Tigers.

I can't believe I'm saying this about a Twin, but I hope he has a nice year and stays healthy.

He was the most exciting pitcher in the game in 2006...NO ONE could hit 102 on the gun every single pitch like Zumaya. Truly incredible arm and an interesting personality. If he stays healthy, he can be very good.

Once again the Twins make a multimillion dollar gamble instead of investing a little more for at least a little more security...Oh well. I'll be staying optimistic. Plus, he's better than what we had...
