Funny how that works. I swear I haven't had anything to buy for my collections (nothing compelling anyway) since February, then boom 3 1/1's and another toughy get listed this week. Can't complain though, timing was good with bills and babies 'round here

I know what you mean - they do tend to come in bunches!!

About a week ago/10 pages there was the commentary on hoarding. I have a few and I finally tallied them. I'm not hoarding anything particularly rare - just my favorite cards or ones that I can pick up inexpensively (especially if nobody else is bidding). Some are 90's, a couple 2000's.

These are my favorites - Summit Nth Degree (x8)and my all time favorite 97 bowman chrome international refractor (x9)

21 all star game jersey warmups (1 not pictured)

I love those Topps Retired Sigs - I hoard them too. I thought it was interesting how the non-refractors were produced in different quantities. There were only 70 for Rusty. You kinda have to rely on Beckett for print run since they aren't serial numbered. Oops, pretend you're reading the Super Sweet 00's thread.

I grabbed it hoping to help out a fellow board member who's working on the set. Doesn't like he needs it (it's not on his list), so I'll probably be putting it up for sale. I'm not an expert on these, but it seems like they often go for well over BV (I think a Thomas went for $75 at some point).

Funny. I was going to pay full price but I checked Eric's want list and, alas, he has it.

They do go for way over book value. I paid $30 for my Larkin and it is the only one I've seen for sale.

Couple of recent pickups from Fandruw25:

My scanner doesn't scan slabs well, so it doesn't do this card any justice at all. Looks so awesome in person:

Only Online winner I have ever seen. The same one that surfaced on ebay recently.

Good stuff! I'm gonna contact the seller and offer him double for it. Sorry, I want it more.

Kidding :D

Haha, I did expect it to go for a little more. Besides, as often as you seem to search COMC Im sure you get first crack at your share of Bernies! Did I ever send you my list of doubles to see if you needed any of them?
