Figured I would use this as a chance to show some cards I've picked up over the last few months, as I'm generally a creeper on these forums..

Need the following that are x/300 -- Not much of a trader, but I'll be happy to pay a fair price for them: Votto, Granderson, Josh Johnson, Matt Cain, Shin Soo-Choo
I actually picked up a few different refractor parallels of Lemons, with this gold one being the best of the bunch. I absolutely love the arm action and mechanics going forward, and he strikes me as athletic enough to make mechanical changes as he progresses through the minors. I think that...
I need primarily the big names.. I'll send fair Paypal value for them. Biggest problem is that people aren't willing to drop the guys that were once worth pretty good money for their true value. Case in point would be the Brian Dopiraks you find listed for $50.00 or something outrageous on...
Agreed. Misrepresented the card and failed to offer compensation when Topps showed a lack of effort. But collectors have proven inelastic to problems with quality control in the past, so why would Topps have any incentive to do better?

Bowman Chrome...
"Investing" in baseball cards is a losing game most of the time. It's almost like purchasing stock options.. you're betting on not only a player performing well but in a certain window of time before their starpower diminishes. Worse yet, not only do many player's cards peak at release or early...
Anyone else have any new insight? I've been looking around at Ebay but have been overwhelmed. I managed to pick up a Dane Phillips Elite Gold Auto /10 today for what I believe to be a decent price, especially since he had the talent to be a first round bat. At $15 I figured it was low risk buy!
Thanks. Not trying to look for prospecting advice! Haha, I'm still playing in college but sense the end is near for my journey. Got the chance to play with and against a lot of guys that made it into organizations though. It's funny to see it from a different perspective on guys who are...
Hi all.
Been off playing ball for a couple of years and haven't had a chance to really look at cards. I started looking at the Elite cards that came out recently and saw some familiar names (love to find a Dane Phillips card, he's a great guy I played a season with). Last time I was looking at...
