I still work on Saturdays at a card store - I get to see packs opened, hold cool cards, I even do his eBay listing so I get the online research and stuff. And I get paid instead of having to break out the credit cards. Haven't bought a box since 2010 Bowman.
Nice pickup. I have a UD dual auto with Griffey, but I keep looking at one of those Mill Creek certified autos to add to the collection, as well. That's a nice one there.

I listed a Chrome Refractor auto at $135 this afternoon BIN/BO (auctions had ended about 120), and it was already snapped up and paid for. Not bad since I only paid $20 for it in November.
I did take a chance once on a game used hockey stick without a cert, and then when I had a chance to get it signed, I just asked him if that was one of his gamers. He said it was. Then he was confused why anyone even had one.
(It was Bob Carpenter, not exactly an NHL legend)
