My 1st big Titans/Oilers pull back in the day, Loved Contenders that year with the 3 different base cards, & 3 different levels on each. This is an "Accent" Parallel which were tough pulls. Love the Tennessee Oilers cards, they were only that name for a year making them a cool pc item that I still own.

Seller was asking $12-something on this, but accepted his minimum offer of $7-something. Somehow I didn't know about these before now:

I finally got complete scans for 1998 and 1999 up on my site during the holiday weekend. Here are some of my favorites.

But first, I hadn't put up a pic of my top 2013 pickup yet:

1997 Precious Metal Gems GREEN, 001/150 (first 15 were green, last 135 were red). Paid $125 for it but I had never seen one and I know the other active Dilfer supercollector needs it, so if it would have come up for auction it may have gone higher than that.

1998:

Complete run of Playoff Goldsrint runs vary from 25 to 98, as a bonus the Contenders Ticket is 25/25.

More rare than any of the Golds (you player collectors know what I'm talking about):

Looks like there's not much of a market for 7-11s despite their rarity. Barry's Absolute sold for just $15 at auction last month.

Yeah I searched comc, ebay, the Beckett marketplace, and google for Momentum 7-Elevens and got nothing at all. So it's doubtful any cards from the set exist, but still it's weird that Beckett is so specific with the checklist to match up certain players for each card. Maybe Playoff sent them a preliminary checklist then never made the set? According to Beckett there is no foil logo on the cards, they are just two Momentum Retail "fronts" with nothing else different. So I could see them getting easily lost in the shuffle, but not to the point where none have EVER turned up in 16 years.

Anyways that's awesome you have both Jake Reeds, hopefully someday I'll find the Dilfer Absolute. I know there has to be some somewhere sitting unnoticed in old boxes.

My 2000 Season Stat Line has them even worse, and both of my 1999 Donruss Preferred "Power" parallels (which have the same type of reflective foil) also have the issue. I've had them through living in a desert environment (New Mexico) and a more moist environment (Seattle) so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the climate of either place. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the holders, as I have the Stat Lines in single screw-downs and the Powers in penny sleeves and toploaders. The baseball Season Stat Lines I have from the early 2000's don't seem to have this issue.

On second examination, oddly enough my 2000 Career Stat Line Dilfer has the "rust" issue but not the Season Stat Line. So it's not necessarily an issue with the refractive foil Donruss used. I've only really seen this "rust" issue on Donruss cards from 1999-2000. I have seen other types of deteriorating foil, though... disappearing foil on 1996 Ultra Rookies inserts and 2004 Sweet Spot baseball autos comes to mind.

Oh, so anyways I got 2000 and 2001 scanned in this past weekend...

Maybe my least favorite card, 2001 Playoff Honors Buy Backs auto/14. First, it's a "buy back" of a card issued in the same year. Second, the thick sharpie and Bible verse scream IP/TTM auto. Third, whoever hand-numbered it really screwed up. It's a 100% real card, though, as it has the DLP embossed seal and the space for the serial number on the back of the original card has been overstamped with a DLP design.

One of my favorite cards, 2001 SP Game Used Authentic Fabric Triples Trent Dilfer/Jamal Lewis/Ray Lewis /25. Very difficult to find, don't know how I lucked into this one back in my college days when my spending money was much more limited.

2001 Titanium Trent Dilfer/Tony Banks Dual Patch. Pretty weak patch.

This one is kind of dumb, 2001 Topps Super Bowl XXXV Bunting...they inserted the banners from the stadium into cards.

The 99 Topps Promotion cards are tough to locate. I found only one of Sanders.
