I'm very excited for tomorrow. Tried to get all work done this week to avoid working tomorrow but hoping I can finish a little job tomorrow and get back home for Yankees first pitch
40 years ago today, the Toronto Blue Jays played their first home game. That is pretty much common knowledge, but what isn't is that Bobby Doerr was their in uniform.
Doerr was the inaugural hitting coach for the first couple of seasons for the Toronto Blue Jays. And this there is some awesome stuff of Doerr available from North of the border
My favorite has to the 1979 Bubble Yum Blue Jays set. This was a SGA and thus a ton where lost/thrown away or made it out the stadium in horrible condition. Was lucky enough to pick up a complete set a few years ago and the envelope is awesome!
Tons of other Blue Jays stuff in my collection but just wanted to share my favorite on this anniversary!
