Santana for sure. His hitting has really impressed me.

Santana - .278 5 16
Posey - .351 7 23

I'm liking Posey a little more

What you've failed to mention is Posey has had 42 more at-bat's than Santana (Posey's 137-to-Santana's 95). By the looks of thier ratio's the only thing Posey would be better than in your above offensive categories (if they had the same amount of at-bat's) is batting average.

I think I'll go with Carlos Santana, even though he's in a much weaker offensive lineup (& he STILL is cranking out stat's)! :D

There is no such thing as a "much" weaker offensive lineup than San Francisco.

Just wondering, where does Santana usually hit in the line-up? Posey is our clean up hitter. Also, I would prefer Posey's inside-out swing to Santana's aggressive swing. Also, I have seen Santana hit in like 5 games and I would prefer Posey's patience.

I agree - I like Buster's approach at the plate. He also has enough power to hit opposite field HR's which I think is an indication of a good hitter!

Santana hits third, he's pretty damn patient too look at his OBP.

Posey catching up to heyward and gaby sanchez for most productive rookie hitting numbers.

Nice streak going for Posey. Too bad I couldn't swing a deal for him in my NL fantasy league before he got this hot. And because I'm a Tigers fan, I must say Posey is catching up to Boesch whose already passed Heyward and Sanchez for most productive rookie.

Today he got yet another RBI (31) and raised his average to .353 ROY ROY ROY!

Also extends his hitting streak to 16, 1 more to catch Cepeda and then 5 more after that to catch McCovey for the SF Giants franchise rookie hitting streak.
