RIP. I didn't realize he was still alive. I remember as a kid meeting him at a baseball card show in Dallas in the '80s and how he was very friendly to everyone.

(By the way Gracecollector, his last name has no "e" at the end.)

His was the first autograph I ever pulled from a pack of cards. Hit it in from a loose box of 1997 Topps Stars at a card shop near Cooperstown that same year. Good memories. RIP.
