I only know a couple of individuals who collect Brooks Robinson cards/items and a great guy who collected him in the past, but no longer has the collection. I'd consider the one's I know friends. They've been nothing but great to me and hopefully I've been the same to them. I'm with some of you who basically put it that this is a hobby, not life itself, and we can't obtain everything so be content with what we do have. Nobody keeps these items forever...
Also, there are some Brooks collectors out there that I really don't know who they are, but I get outbid quite often. When it came to the Heritage auction, where Brooks was selling the majority of his awards and miscellaneous items, I lost out on EVERYTHING! Oh well, can't have it all...
