Malkin in goal scoring drought. EDIT: SCORES IN VANCOUVER!!!

Wow i had know idea it was this bad till last night. 10 Games with No goals now, after not scoring last night in the Pens 3-1 win in Calgary. This is awful for Malkin and us fans/collectors of his. I hope he breaks out real soon, maybe tonight in Edmonton he will score a couple?!?! He does have 6 assists in these 10 games, but he is also a -6 these last 10 games as well and he is currently 22nd in scoring. 22nd??? These are not Malkin numbers for this late into the season. Malkin should be up in the top 5 or 6 in scoring like he always is.

I think he will score a power play goal tonight in Edmonton. he has played very well in these 10 games but his touch just seems to be off a bit. one of the reasons for the -6 is because he is going after the puck a little more aggressively than he normally does and he has come away without the puck a few times and the other team has scored after that. he will be fine he is just in a little bit of a funk.

well Malkin didn't score on Thursday although he played very strong again. I will say he scores tonight and again I will say on the power play.

Quite a few of last years top players are having mediocre seasons so far by their standards. A few surprises as well.

Iggy is in a big slump right now as well, just 1 assist in the last 6 games.

Hopefully Malkin gets a hat trick tonight

Malkin scored a goal tonight in the 1st period, but currently the Pens are losing 5-1 and just put in their 4th, yes 4th string goalie.

not a very pretty goal but hopefully this will help him get out of his funk. he played another solid game and fought hard everytime he stepped on the ice.
