Matt Cain 08 Triple Threads...what are the patches from?

Got this for helping out a guy I met at the LCS the other day...any idea where the patches could have come from? Middle one looks to be the MLB logo and fabric looks and feels like it came from a hat...the left and right swatches are material I cant identify.

Most likely the All-Star game patch the Giants wore them that entire series. There are several Lincecum Upper Deck patches that us that exact patch as well. But all the material looks like a cap.

Duh, I didn't even think of it being an MLB All Star Patch. It is certainly from that patch.
