Getting an NHL jersey with your name on the back is lame, unless you are under 10. Exceptions can be made if you have the same name as an NHLer - but you still have to get it on the right team's jersey.

Ya know, I got a New York Yankees jersey one year for my birthday with Don Mattingly's number on the back but it had my last name instead embroidered on it. Now, Yankees home jerseys don't have names on them so I got some strange looks when I wore it to school like a dork. People were like, "did you or anyone you are related to ever play for New York? Nopes. It was kinda a cool novelty gift but never ever EVERRRRR again.
