Re: Scanning my Dodgers: T205 thru 1965 is done. 56K beware!
Birth year set. When I was a sophomore in high school (1982), I pretty much gave away all of my cards to a local guy for like $20 or something - one of the worst decisions of my life, but girls had become waaaay more interesting than cardboard. At any rate, I did keep some of my Dodger cards, plus I received some '66 Dodgers along with the $20 - probably like half the team set. The only three I'm sure I received were the Brewer, Koufax and Moeller, because I remember to this day the missing corners. I've had nicer '66 Koufax cards enter and leave my collection, but the one in my team set will always stay.
Also included in the set is a '66 Venezuelan Wes Parker that I received for Christmas this year.
Re: Scanning my Dodgers: T205 thru 1972 is done. 56K beware!
I've been thinking lately that this thread isn't very user friendly, mostly because of the large size of the picture/file, and because some screens may not be big enough to get a decent view of things. With that in mind, I changed all the large images to small ones, and then linked each picture to the original large size. Comments & feedback are always appreciated. If anyone has a suggestion that'll improve this thread, LMK.
