One of this things that keeps me in the hobby to varying degrees is the nostalgic feeling of thinking back to the early 1980's when my dad and I would watch the Mets. We would pull out all our Mets cards and try to make the starting line up on the carpet, looking at them and talking baseball while watching the game. The last time that happened was in 1986 (I remember because of the cards) but for the few years we did it, we would sit on the floor, laughing, crying, arguing, and enjoying baseball & baseball cards.
