With section finals upon us, I figured I would get this thread rolling. Had a few people interested last year, so hopefully that continues.

I probably can't update the thread like I did last year, although I will try.

Anyone have any predictions about participants/winners this year?

New Ulm vs. Luverne Tomorrow 6 PM @ Mankato All Seasons

It felt great to punch in Luverne as the 3A Champion.

The SWC is the most undeveloped conference in the state (by an absolute longshot). Heck, I'm older than most, if not all, high school programs here. Too have back-to-back teams go to the X is awesome.

Unfortunately, I could not be there tonight. I saw some pics, and the arena was absolutely packed and I could sure hear them on the radio.

It's a big up-hill climb from here. I can almost guarantee a 7th or 8th seed for the Cards. They may do something in the quarters though. I'm excited.

Found a pic of Luverne's locker room. Really nice setup, especially for an SWC team. Been to a couple arenas down here where the locker rooms are essentially broom closets.

I watched the Stillwater/Hill-Murray game, and I need to go lay down after that. Can't describe what I just saw.

Anyway, seedings are released tomorrow and I will post them once they come in.

H-Town got an early goal against the Cards, but Luverne is starting to put the pressure on.

A nice showing by the guys from southwest, but Luverne falls to Hermantown 6-3.

It was a great game honestly, just a lot of mistakes on Luverne's part, and a lot of shots that were just off the mark.

Hermantown tends to be a favorite of mine, so now that Luverne is done, I will go back to rooting for them for the remainder of the tournament.
