1981 Fleer, 1981 Fleer Star Stickers and 1981 Topps Stickers. Really nothing spectacular to be had in any of those sets. I think I only bought them because they were cheap.

Back when I had some extra cash. I bought vending boxes 1975,76 and 1977 from a dealer. He called himself the "Baseball Card Kid" Mark Murphy.

Based on the number of cards I have left of these 2 sets I probably opened 1 pack of Topps in 1964 and several packs in 1966. Of course, the missing variable is how many cards did my Mom throw out.

Some guy in the early 90's had a shop in Philly that had different antique stuff. I found a 1979 Topps Cello pack. It was wrapped very tight. No loose like in the 80's. Well I pulled the Ozzie RC that I still have today! Thing is CLEAN and "Minty". I also worked at a card shop in the mid '90's and was really into 79-80 OPC hockey. The packs were $60 a pack and I just worked for store credit around my other job. So I would get a pack at a time and after the 4th time I did this I pulled the Gretzky RC! I still have that as well and it graded a 7 because of the OPC rough edges. I'll tell you the thrill of pulling that card had me almost shaking!
