For me it depends all on the eye appeal. If it's an on-plate autograph and a black plate, it might look pretty good. If not (and in the most likely scenario), then I'd go with the other option.

Many of the plates have been selling extremely well, far better than I would have guessed. (Not sure which I would take, just saying...)

The voting is as I suspected. I'm actually amazed it's as high against the plates as it is.

SOMEONE likes these stupid things because people buy them......

Plates are a strange bird. Prospectors are stuck on shiny but I believe the end collector would love to have the 1/1 RC or FY of their guy and will pay for it.

The demographic here definitely construes the poll based on the prospecting bias.

Not that a lot will depend on the player. For some players $15 is close to the full price of a plate.
