Need Prospecting Help

A friend at work wants to invest in some football players that are going into their first and second years. I'm no prospector, so I don't know what advice to give him. I know in baseball it's Bowman Chrome base autos that are the easiest - low risk, decent reward. What is popular for football? Thanks.

SPA/Exquiste/Treasures/high end nice looking cards for bigger players

Any autos of someone you think will spike (Arian Foster/any backup QB that will start at some point in the season due to being better or injury/preseason spikes)

Topps Chrome is quite popular too. Runningbacks and quarterbacks usually offer the fastest pop but WR should not be ignored. Even elite linemen can bring home the dough these days.
