Would you rather?

Somebody brought up a question similar to this on another website and got me thinking; would you rather have a card you know has a piece of game used jersey, or a multicolor manufactured patch?

Depends on the card design, rarity, and other factors. There's no shortage of either available so I'll take whatever is more desirable to me and that has little to do with authenticity of a tiny swatch for the cheap players I collect. Now if we're talking vintage HOFers here then I'll take the authentic swatch for sure. There's still just too many variables on such a broad question

"Pretty" doesn't mean much to me if it encompasses no real added value.

I voted for the jersey, as it is a more direct connection to the player.

"Value" doesn't mean much to me of its only monetary though I admit I am in the minority
