Question on this weird sp jeter rc

Customer brought in an sp jeter rc (didn't take a pic) looking to sell.

The card looks like an 8, BUT the entire bottom of the card looks like it got caught in the pack sealing machine.

In other words, the bottom looks like the sealed part of a wrapper.

What sell price would you put on this card?

I told him about $15, he didn't like it.

Maybe you should have offered $5, $15 was too much for a clearly damaged card.

Personally, I think the $15 was generous for a card that is so easily available in better condition. Did he say what he was looking for on it?

I have a 1993 finest refractor Shilling like this.....it is in a BGS4 holder. paid $10.
