I was just watching the Japan vs. Cuba game and saw that they used metal bats. Can anyone give me info as to why they use them? Sorry if I sound dumb asking this. :lol:

I know that you are talking about Gourriels bat. That was not a metal bat. It was just REALLY shiny and had some cool graphic on it. They definitely do not use metal bats, though.

Wow, crazy stuff. I did not know that they could do that. It looked like metal, but I said no way. If they would use metal bats, someone would die lol! :lol:

Someone would die if they used metal bats.
Yeah it's not metal we had a guy on our summer college team that played with one of those silver looking wood bats.
