I thought I had stepped into a hot tub time machine!
A dealer set up a table of nearly all 80s rookie cards ranging from guys like Tommy Herr to Griffey and everything in between. No joking, nearly every "name" player from that decade was in it.
He had two binders of only rookie cards and shoe boxes of better rookies like Boggs, Mattingly, Clemens, Canseco, etc as well as half a show box of only Bonds rookies.
But he was realistic with his prices, he knew he wasn't walking out a millionaire, or even a multi thousandaire.
His table would have been THE place to be around 15 years ago.
Weird thing was, I kept looking through the boxes and binders even though I knew there was basically nothing there I wanted....I just HAD to.
