Not a great assesment. Mccutchen will not steal as many bases and he will hit way more homeruns. Mccutchen is going to develop into a 25-35 homerun hitter.mwashuc06 said:

The comparison that I have been making in my mind is Jimmy Rollins, but with more walks.

Because it's happened with basically all the good PIT players. Things do look like they might change there though.

15 - 20 out of the lead off spot is fantastic.

And it is likely the power numbers will rise over the next 5 years. He is going to be a really good player for a long time.
