hope your right, we all remember the lead the mets blew with 17 games to go.
hope this isn't a repeat
Duh. You are saying you would want the Yankees to win? I highly doubt that. It is a fairly close race, why wouldn't a typical yankees fan want the Red Sox to lose?scotty21690 said:Typical Yankee fan...boomo said:much happier sox are losing, that is key

You are a Yankee fan, but you doubt there every move lol.
That's actually not what I'm saying at all.trademhigh said:Duh. You are saying you would want the Yankees to win? I highly doubt that. So, you're saying, if the Red Sox are down a game coming into the last game of the season, and they crush their opponents, that you couldn't care less if the Yankees win or lose? I realize it's an exaggerated scenario, but based upon your post, that's what it sounds like.scotty21690 said:That's actually not what I'm saying at all.trademhigh said:Duh. What I mean is that the 'typical Yankee fan' is one who cares about the Red Sox losing more than they do the Yankees losing.
As for me? I couldn't care less what they do actually. It's 100% Red Sox right now. Not that I want them to win, but the Yanks will keep finding their way to win. As long as the Sox keep playing well that's all that matters to me.
i'd be pissed if i was an angels or yankees fanpujolsjunkie said:Red Sox get the most BS win I have ever seen. Nick Green absolutely went around on his check swing on 0-2 (even he knew it), and the 3-2 pitch was clearly strike three. I really can't believe that garbage just happened.
