it out?

I think he will and I think Lidge will strike out the side

I would have put Lidge into to begin the inning, not just for the last at bat. No reason to risk injury to Eyre, and possibly give Lidge some confidence. I'm not sure I agree with giving him the last AB, but at least he made it in.
