Just got a little more info for the upcoming product. I'm sure a whole PR barrage will be forthcoming after midnight tonight. But in the meantime, here's the latest:

While the USA Baseball boxed set arrives on Tuesday, little has been revealed about what will be inside the annual fund-raising product — other than the confirmed inclusion of a few Bryce Harper cards — until now.

The standard set will include the National Team, the 18U National Team and the 16U National Team, while each set will include seven autographs per box — five of those being on-card autographs. Each set will include one inscriptions card as well as a Q&A, Big Signatures, Starting Lineup or team roster card.

As with all Upper Deck products, a suggested retail price was not announced.

Each set also will include three game-used jersey cards — one patch or patch autograph per box — while there also will be Starting Lineup Autograph cards as in recent years as well as Team Roster Autograph cards that have the entire roster’s signatures.

Also back will be 1-of-1 Flag Patch cards, while all memorabilia cards have been upgraded to either be a triple jersey or patch.

The autographs will again be found with blue-, red- and green-ink variations.

I can't find any of the release info at BO's site anymore. Wondering if they were told to take it down?

Well, at least we kept it here. I love how the forum post was all jumbles together.

It seems like they cranked the presses for this release.

I have been told from a very reliable source that factory cost for each set is $70. These are expected to run on the secondary market from $100-$150 (UD's unofficial SRP), depending on the impact from Bryce Harper as well as the high allocation.

I am trying to find the case format, but I am assuming that it will be 5 box cases. What was stressed to me aside from the price point, is how highly allocated this product is supposed to be.

Looks like 30% more than last year if my brain is not deceiving me.

That is a lot, considering how specialized this set is overall.

Hell yes it is.

For values to do anything like last year, it's going to take a second and possibly even a third going the way of the big two last year and a hell of a lot more interest.

Obviously, they're banking on Harper (aka the most powerful high school player ever and Sports Illustrated cover boy!) as a HUGE selling point.

The product will sell. I don't think it will have the ROI that last year had.
