If you are asking which would sell for more...the superfractor.

If I could only pick one (and I collected Lincecum), I would choose the quad patch/auto, hands down. That is a sick card.

I'm a bit surprised that this is a runaway at the moment. If this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tim-Lincecum-2007-E ... 3efd1dc64c

comes anywhere near $1500 which is my estimated current value of an orange refractor, something of an equal print run, I'd say the super and quad patch are interchangable. That's a BIG if though. It was listed previously at a BIN of $2499.99 garnering 10 offers. Who knows how competitive they were. We need our resident Lincecum collector to voice his opinion.

Highest offer was $850, which expired, and $650, which was declined.

How do you do that little trick? What were the offers on this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-Bowman-Chrome- ... 439a188f40

Edit: Oh that's nifty. I never knew you could do that. Here were the offers on the Gold Refractor. Looks like the Quad is in the ball park with the gold refractor and possibly the orange refractor.

Agree, while the super is unquestionably worth more, the Exquisite is a far more desirable card IMO, since they are both 1/1 First Year cards.

Everyone obsesses over Chrome, but I would much rather have the nicer looking card if it was for my collection.

While I can understand people prefering the Superfractor over this card, I have a hard time understanding why people in this thread are saying 'no contest' when in all actuality, their values may not be that far apart.

You can go to ebay.com.au and the offers show up for worldwide auctions. So on the Lincecum the highest offer was $901.

Yeah I just edited my post after figuring it out. That is such a neat trick. The quad is in the ball park with the Gold as far as highest offer. Who knows what could happen at auction.

My take on this- I prefer the superfractor because it is an on-card auto.

If the exquisite was an on-card auto, then that would be the best Lincecum card in existence, but unfortunately EVERY exquisite card for baseball that year was sticker autos.

Just imagine if that product had on-card autos for everything- it would be $300 a pack, not $125.

The sticker DOES make that much a difference.
