Does he have a shot at being a starter? He's been in 15 games this season and started 2..don't know what the situation is there. Hopefully not ATL's version of Joba..

Kawakami is garbage, Medlen should start in his place
They pay Kawakami too much to do anything other than pitch him and pray the bats show up that day.

Medlen is a good, not great pitcher. He'll be their 6th starter for a long time. And its the Braves...so somebody is usually always hurt.

Kawakami can pitch in the bullpen...

He's filling in for jair jurrjens. He pulled something pitching and then the next day during warm up he heard a loud pop in his back so he's out for awhile. When he comes back the braves should keep medlen as a starter and put kawakami in the bullpen. Kawakamihasnt done a thing for the team this year and it seems it takes him half of the season to start to warm up
