Jesus Montero Chrome Auto red. have jumped a little

Not a big jump but enough to make you notice.

I was paying this just after release

Base - $20 - Now $30
Ref - $30 - Now $40-$50
X - $40-45 - Now $50ish
Blue - $90 - Now $125

Im glad i bought in when i did. I hope these get redeemed.

Yeah. At first, there was too much supply. Now, there just are not as many on Ebay. I like his potential.

I'll start buying once they're live.

You must not like his potential to much if your selling his cards.

It was actually your thread that made me realize this. I saw your prices and thought you were crazy until i went and checked for myself.

Guess i will be getting familiar with all their prices since i have to get the Draft autos updated in the OPG this weekend.

yeah, part of the reason is the people on these boards. There are 9-10 people i can think of that decided to pursue him and the prices have risen because of it....

I have my fingers crossed. I am not loaded, but have (5) base, (1) ref, and (3) Xfractors....

Todd Frazier has live autos in 07 Sterling & EEE, but his BDP autos are a lost cause.

I bought a few right after release and just stopped buying. His prices were to low not to take the gamble.

7 base, 2 refs, 3 xfractors, 4 blue refs.

Very true and the same with Detwiler. Oh well... If i get another kick in the junk from Topps i will just stop with the modern cards all together and stick with my vintage collection.

I was meaning to post how weird of a trend that this is. It seems like last year, the longer time elapsed from the debut of 07 Draft, the cheaper the cards became (look at Burgess, Alderson, Mills). There were a few spikes threw the year, but as I recall, most went down. Thus far there are 3 quality players who have seen an upward trend this year, all of which I want.

Ive noticed this also, and im kicking myself for waiting to buy when prices went down.

I just picked up another one today at a show for $20. I only have 2 but will add more in the $22-$25 range. I bought more Flores at release.

I've bought a lot of stuff recently. And, honestly, I like Flores more than Montero. Here's what I have at present...

I'm fairly confident that they'll both sign. And both of these guys are very young and very good. I've read all of the scouting reports and I really like what I've read. My one concern is Montero being able to stay behind the plate.

I concur. I have a ref auto, but I've gotten outbid by a couple bucks on at least 8 Montero base autos! I wish I bid higher.

Sick Flores stash. Im not worried about what position Montero plays. He has a big bat and thats all that matters.

I bought some Flores too but im more sold on Montero succeding.
