Carl Crawford was drafted and playing rookie ball when he was 17.
Pat White will be 25 when he plays his first professional season.

Pat White is also hoping to be a two sport athlete, and the Royals said before signing that they would be willing to work with him on that. It all depends, of course, on if an NFL team wants to sign him. Best of luck to him in his baseball career.
