Even though the auction hasn't ended yet, I'm going to go ahead and post it since it's over $400. Those of you hoping for a steal on this on can hate all you want for my letting the cat out of this bag.

Some points of note

-Wow that is a lot of money

-Wow that is a nice card I would love to own even tough I don't collect Maddux

-It looks like his actual writing style is great, and his scrawl of a signature is just a mystery. Kind of neat seeing them side by side like that.

This card was inserted in 2005 Donuss Signature packs, I actually pulled one back then and sold it. It had gone for over $400 then as well. It is the highest priced card I have ever sold. The "great" Beckett actually has it BV at $400. Awesome card anyways!!

I agree as a lot of those cards hit the market unsigned including some that were never released as part of the set.

Exactly, and the auto just looks off to me. I have a maddux auto or two, its just not right IMO.
