the Red Sox played the Pirates here in Pittsburgh this past weekend at PNC Park. I attended all 3 games and had a great time, especially since the Pirates took 2 of the 3 games. all 3 games sold out and just like a few weekends ago against the Phillies the crowds were about 50/50 Pirates Red Sox fans. on Saturday the crowd set the all-time attendance record PNC Park at 39,483 and then on Sunday broke the record again with 39,511 fans.
some crappy cellphone pics from Friday (Pirates won 3-1)...
Jason Varitek in the bullpen
camera pics from Saturday (Pirates won 6-4)...
Wakefield was making his first start in Pittsburgh since 1993
Hanrahan vs Ortiz
it was also Fireworks Night
Sunday afternoon (Red Sox won 4-2)...
McCutchen signing autographs minutes before the game
Jose Tabata in the Top of the 1st
Tabata in the Bottom of the 1st (he strained his quad )
the Pierogi Race
Moskos vs Ortiz
Papelbon comes in to get the save and he does
thanks if you made it all the way through. I know that was a lot of pics but if you want to see more you can check the rest out in my photobucket...
