Some time ago, I posted a thread on early Bryce Harper 2011 Bowman BGS sales - things were really popping then. Chrome 9.5s for $75, Base 9.5s for $40, Bowmans Best 9.5s for $80+ and so on and so forth.
Since then, Harper as an 18 year old tore the cover off the ball in the SAL AND just got promoted to AA yet the sales have not kept pace.
Here are a few recent ones:
Chrome - [phil:3439qw0t]120744303726[/phil:3439qw0t] - down 50% from previous
Base - [phil:3439qw0t]120744843422[/phil:3439qw0t] - also down 50%
Best - [phil:3439qw0t]120744844393[/phil:3439qw0t] - again down 50%
BGS 9 Auto - [phil:3439qw0t]230640460268[/phil:3439qw0t] - down maybe 33%?
Purple Ref 9.5 - [phil:3439qw0t]160611336552[/phil:3439qw0t] - that was the price of a raw not long ago
BGS 10 Chrome Ref - [phil:3439qw0t]190546089119[/phil:3439qw0t] - 10 selling for price of 9.5 a month ago
BGS 10 Gold - [phil:3439qw0t]200621048008[/phil:3439qw0t] - less than raw price at release
And the list goes on an on. My question to you is what is your response to these prices? Continue to avoid Harper cards cause you think they are still high or are you considering buying?
