This time of month it seems that EVERYONE is put on waivers.
Why do teams put there players on waivers when they know they will not trade said player.
Example: I believe the Rockies put in a claim on David Wright earlier this week but the Mets said a trade was not going to happen. Well why did the Mets place David Wright on the waiver wire then?
