Is it just me, or is Topps site completely a mess regarding checklists for their own products? I have tried to find other sources for them, and have had varying degrees of success.

I was given a heads up about the HOF/Legends variants in the Topps base set and I caught the bug and have put together a fairly good sized lot of them. However, I can't even be sure how close I am getting to completion as I can't find a confirmed checklist for these anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas for me? I am referring particularly to series 1 and 2 for 2011, but of course U&H is out and I have a few of those so that would be needed as well.

I will be posting a list of haves and hopefully needs on the Set Builders forum at some point. Thanks in advance for any helpful replies, or rants in general!

In this day and age websites should be up to date (within a week). I love going to an organization's website to see that they are having an open house only to find out it was in 2003. ::facepalm:: Big companies should invest in the people to keep it up and running.

Thanks. I was able to find the list for Updates & Highlights but not for Series 1 or Series 2.

Here's a text list if anyone needs it:

US4 Calton Fisk
US10 Hank Aaron
US18 Joe Dimaggio
US21 Willie McCovey
US31 Paul O'Neill
US38 Roger Maris
US42 Frank Thomas
US50 Nolan Ryan
US58 Bert Blyleven
US59 Rickey Henderson
US85 Tom Seaver
US138 Paul Molitor
US140 Sandy Koufax
US154 Babe Ruth
US195 Larry Walker
US207 Frank Robinson
US229 Roberto Alomar
US230 Al Kaline
US238 Darryl Strawberry
US249 Ozzie Smith
US258 Monte Irvin
US260 Ty Cobb
US278 Tris Speaker
US291 Andre Dawson
US309 Jimmie Foxx

I tried sportscardradio.com too their series 2 list seems accurate but they have a disclaimer on their series 1 list that states it's unconfirmed and there are only 24 cards listed.

Thanks! I guess I am late to the party as usual!

Here's the Series 2 List:

355 Bob Feller
375 Andre Dawson
393 Jim Palmer
405 Ryne Sandberg
410 Reggie Jackson
425 Johnny Mize
435 Pee Wee Reese
450 Mickey Mantle
460 Robin Roberts
480 Roberto Alomar
490 Duke Snider
505 Greg Maddux
510 Hank Aaron
516 Tom Seaver
530 Sandy Koufax
570 Bert Blyleven
590 Juan Marichal
600 John Smoltz
626 Nolan Ryan
630 Joe Morgan
640 Eddie Mathews
645 Bob Gibson
650 Frank Robinson
651 Eddie Murray
660 Brooks Robinson

Were there only 24 cards in series 1 then? The last list I could find had 24:

#5 Lou Gehrig
#20 Honus Wagner
#25 Carl Yastrzemski
#44 Rogers Hornsby
#50 Mike Schmidt
#80 Jackie Robinson
#90 Yogi Berra
#93 Frank Thomas
#100 Stan Musial
#102 Christy Mathewson
#135 Dale Murphy
#150 Hank Greenburg
#198 Johnny Bench
#199 Ozzie Smith
#200 Ty Cobb
#209 Roy Campanella
#219 Thurman Munson
#250 Mel Ott
#271 Babe Ruth

Do you think Topps went a little overboard? I mean, 74 variant cards, and 3 different versions of each? What started out as a little fun is turning into a bit of a project! ::facepalm::
