I've been contemplating whether opening an ebay store is worthwhile to increase my profits, mainly in selling prospect cards. I easily meet the requirements to be a top rated seller and most of these sales are using free listings auction style. I'm reluctant to list items using bin/bo for 50 cents each when I don't know if they'll sell and have determined I would go with a Basic Store ($15.95/month, 20 cents per bin/bo listing) if I do go the store route. That still seems to be quite expensive per listing per month. However, ebay seems to make most of their money with Final Value Fees and these fees are lower for a store.

So at what point is it worthwhile to open a store? I'd like to make some sales above the general going rate to help pay off the subscription and listing fees but don't want items to just sit. And by opening a store, I'll have to pay insertion fees for auction items. Are the FVFs for auction style listings the same as the fixed price ones so that I'd save money by paying the insertion fee? Or would I be better off having two accounts - one for auctions and a store for bin/bo. I don't think I'd want to deal with that hassle though. And for those of you with stores, what has your experience with them been like? Thanks for the help.

Here are a couple ebay links about ebay stores:
