I like Storage Wars in small doses. Barry is also my favorite "character."

So, since you are all on the edges of your seats, here is my latest (and probably last for a while) book purchase. This one cost me a large chunk, but, as I have curtailed card buying for a long time, I can justify it.

William S. Burroughs signed/inscribed small press ARC!

If not familiar with him, he was, aside from Jack Kerouac, probably the best known Beat poet/author. He wrote such literary mindf$%ks as Naked Lunch and Junkie.

His writing is definitely not everyone's cup o' tea, but has been a favorite of mine since high school (where, by the way, I was sent to the guidance counselor after writing a paper on Junkie... )

As of now, my Beat signature collection is as complete as it can be. Kerouac signature will have to wait until I become independently wealthy.

Today is my first day of summer. What do I do? Schedule my first ever skydive. Totally excited and scared at the same time. My best friend is doing it with me as well. After that, we're going to the Phillies/Pirates game at CBP. What a great day that's going to be!

I dont watch Auction Hunters. Baggage Battles was on last night and the night before. Its on a good bit and if you have DVR you can catch up pretty fast.

I honestly couldn't tell you. According to her it's all great! :lol:

She mainly looks for purses, CDs, shoes, and whatever catches her eye.

In terms of Beat poetic chops, it is tough to beat Ginsberg. Corso is right behind him, imo.

Yeah, she likes to look at them. I don't think she's bought much of it though.
