Excellent points by all of you. I have 4 signed books. This is definitely the cornerstone of the 4 I have, but it's not like I actively search out signed books.

As for the card, it is a 1/1 that I have wanted for 3 years. It would be the new cornerstone of my player collection. So yeah, it's a helluva tough decision.

I have a sort of ritual I do when I buy a new book. Before I get started, I read the very last page. I don't know when I started it but I do it each and every time.

No offense, Dave, but, What the hell is wrong with you? :p

I'm glad I'm not the only person that does this! People always call me crazy for it.

Okay, What the hell is wrong with BOTH of you?
:p

It's how I write, too. I read that way because it helps me develop the story, try to predict where it's going and how it gets there before it actually happens. As odd/different as it is, it has helped me advance/develop my writing.

Okay, going to go and do some reading, WITHOUT reading the last page first.

Have a good night, ya weirdos.

I'm out of here as well. Going to watch the rest of the Chavez Jr-Lee fight on HBO. If anyone feels compelled to make an offer on my book, I am willing to listen.

Have a great night guys!

I can kinda see that, as I like to map out a nice outline when I am writing, but don't do it with reading.

On the other hand, I am one of those people who don't give a rip about people giving spoilers when talking about a movie I haven't seen yet. I like following the structure/pacing of a movie and don't care about surprises. Kinda like you with the reading, I guess.

Okay, you get a pass. Dave on the other hand....:-?
