Right, nobody else on this site flaunts their collection and new high-priced items. It's different when it comes to cardboard, though, I forgot. The more I read these kinds of posts from the OP the more I understand why his "friend" would steal from him. Not just the fact he got an IP auto... but just the way he complained about Ry not signing ... and begging him. Something just rubs me the wrong way.
He comes off as someone who flaunts his collection ... constantly showing off new high priced items. And if you do that over and over to someone with less money they get jealous and figure you wont miss this or that.
Kinda like.... the guy just comes over to hang out... drink a beer... and you go get your new item and show him.
Again... this is just how these posts come off to me. Complains someone wont sign... and tries to rationalize his reactions when they wont.

I don't think a lot of these people on this board understand what IP graphing is all about. It grabs you as bad as busting wax or any other aspect of the hobby. Except you can't do it hiding behind your computer. You have to get out there and get moving.
So chasing a player down while he's waiting for a ride isn't stalking?

Atleast he's not knocking on players windows while they are stuck in traffic, or sneaking into charity events .
roll all the eyes you want.
Can someone tell me what the big deal is?
im sorry but asking a guy to sign
when their is 4 people there?
it takes less then 2 minutes.
i can understand when there is 20,
but 4?? and regardless if he got the kids
last night, shame on him for refusing
a 5 year old kid.
I think it's pretty funny that these people addicted to collecting cardboard of athletes cannot put their mind around trying to get autographs from these same athletes.I don't think a lot of these people on this board understand what IP graphing is all about. The OP stated that he had already signed for him. OP wasn't satisfied with the 2 items he signed, had to come back and wait at the player's entrance and plead with Howard to sign.
So what would any sane person think of these actions?

Sometimes you want more than one thing signed so instead of being an ass and handing them all to the guy at once, you get one at a time each day.
And sometimes you show up several days with no other intention but to sell off the graphs. Ask the OP about the Bryce Harper autos we had to hear all about, until he wanted to sell them off of course. And please dont give me the whole "games are not free routine" cause that dont justify begging for free stuff to offset your hobby.

Have you been to the National where grown men push, shove, yell, and fight to get free handouts and promotional cards? It is no different. No better, no worse. They are begging for free stuff, many show up every day to get the same promotional (i.e. the Strasburg Heritage card from two years ago), and many sell them asap. And I heard numerous VIP's all whine that the cards weren't free because they paid for their VIP packages to justify begging for free stuff to offset their hobby.
I am not condoning the actions of either group but this cuts both ways.
