That 89 ud joyner promo (700c) I picked up for a quarter books $250.

You just never know what you'll find in a bargain box.

I'm in shock I got this for $15...I can't even find a regular Edmonds for that price!

Yeah, it's been up for a while, but given the rarity of the Executive Promos, I didn't expect the seller to take an almost 50% off offer.

I find it kind of surprising that Jim Edmonds doesn't seem to have much collectibility. With him playing his best years in Califirnia and St. Louis, you would think he would have a lot of fans. He was a great player.

I'm surprised the Sandbergs are that rare. The Shane Mack Sample, which was also available only at the same show the Sandberg was available, seems to be fairly easy to find. I know I owned a few on COMC, though they're sold out now. Were the Mack and Sandberg issued in different quantities, or did the Sandberg collectors just grab them all up already?

Sandberg must be SP'd somehow. Even the 1992 Score Griffey promo is fairly common and available on ebay virtually anytime you look for it. I was very shocked to see it sell for that much.

I've only seen a couple since coming back in 2008. I thought my $156 bid was a sure thing. I was wrong.

As it was listed, I honestly thought less than $20 would get it. Promo's can be hit and miss. The early Score promos (1988 to 1991) are crazy tough, but I thought 1992 was the first year they were somewhat obtainable. I guess not in this case. I bid $7.50, lol.

Just picked up this 100 ct. Lot of various oversized, no foil 1991 stadium club "members" cards (bb, fb, hky).

To say prices are all over the place would be an understatement.

Anyone know realistically what the bigger names sell for?

I don't remember exactly, but I paid well less than $10 for my Sandberg.

It might be time to list my '93 promos I guess; I've already broken the set anyway.

How can you tell a 1993 Promo from a base? I've read a few articles explaining the difference on some cards, but I have trouble seeing it. What's the checklist on those?

Have a Puckett by chance?
