Miley

5-5 his last 10 starts.

AND, he also has 13 wins and 2.96 ERA for the seaon, which is 11th in the league.

That ERA is better than (national league only):

Gio GOnzalez
Zack Greinke
Mat Latos
Aj Burnett
Adam Wainright
Yovani Gallardo
BUehrle
Hudson
Lynn
Cliff Lee
Tommy Hanson
Tim Lincecum

What is Todd Frazier doing better than BIG TIME offensive players in the National league?

LOL, I usually agree with ya skrip but Frazier has an OPS of .913 - as a rookie - that is better than (NL ONLY - per your rules) - EVERY HITTER but these five: McCutchen, Braun, Posey, Wright, and Cargo....I didn't feel like typing out the other list ;)

EDIT: to be fair, Frazier doesn't have enough at bats to qualify for batting title and neither do these guys that have higher OPS than Frazier - Stanton, Allen Craig, Votto, and Carlos Ruiz.

Still....only 9 guys in the entire NL have a higher OPS

I know I'm biased, but I don't see how Frazier isn't the frontrunner. I couldn't care less that he's older. He qualifies and is producing.

Mike Trout will win a new combined MLB ROY Award.

Or he will win both.

Not that this makes him a lock for ROY:lol: but without Frazier, Trout, and Plouffe (only early on before he got hurt), I'd probably be in dead last in my fantasy league. What would have your opinion on my fantasy team if I drafted this preseason:

C - Brian McCann
1B - Justin Morneau
2B - Jose Altuve
SS - Ben Zobrist
3B - Todd Frazier
1B/3B - Chris Carter
2B/SS - Hanley Ramirez
OF - Carlos Gonzalez
OF - Mike Trout
OF - Josh Reddick
OF - Jason Heyward
OF - Matt Joyce
UTIL - Andy Dirks

BENCH: Trevor Plouffe

Just looking at his last month where he's had regular playing time he's hitting .319/.365/.627 with 8 HR and 22 RBI. Definitely coming on strong. You can make a very strong argument for Miley as well, especially since he is pitching in Arizona. Should be an interesting race.

He can play any position in the field.

love the debate but i dont think id be upset if either Miley or Frazier won the award. Both are deserving.

I agree, but the homer in me really wants Frazier to win it. Being a Reds fan, I'm already biased to Frazier, but I got to talk to him a few times when the Bats would come to play the Indians here in Indy. Great guy. Even if I wasn't a Reds fan, I'd be a fan of Frazier.

GOod find, I didn't even look. But you could also say he isn't near the top 10-20 in HR, Rbi, hits, 2b, etc, etc, etc. I personally think their are two excellent options here, and wouldn't be surprised if either won. But Miley has been doing it ALL YEAR, Frazier has had one crazy month, and been mediocre outside of that. I will take the guy who has been consistently excellent for 5 months.

Frazier hit a home run without keeping the bat in his hands....that deserves at least one place vote:lol:

and he has been captain clutch for the reds

So are you guys telling me he can play Catcher, Pitcher, Shortstop, and centerfield? No offense, but a guy that can play 1b/3b and the corner outfields spots can't "play every position on the field".
