In my opinion this whole thread is becoming a joke.
The only few that continue to make a deal about it are those that have nothing to do with it. Yet once again, those that pre-ordered are not taking this approach even though we are involved.
No one is or will pursue legal action, that is laughable and not worth the time & money. There was no contract in my opinion.
If his top customers all were told (for the first time on any product) that he would put us down but could not promise even once case until he hears allocation numbers, and others were too, we all understood that and why we are not on here whining. Josh took possible orders for dozens and dozens of people, where are they all? Not here continuing to drag this out.
Also, for allstars, nothing personal, you keep saying that Josh can go out and buy the inventory. Again NOT POSSIBLE!!!! Wake up! Josh had MORE cases on possible hold for people then Topps is even producing taking into account that most dealers and large distributors pre-sold to their customers their entire allocations. There is not even to be 1,000 cases of jumbos to be made. Josh had possible orders to half of that number, which normally would not be an issue. This is a first. I have bought 60+ cases of products several times and others have bought large qty too. So to say that Josh can go out and buy that many cases is absurd. So, I disagree with you my friend.
Josh, was not taking pre-orders but rather a wish list for us. He was up front about not being able to possible qty that much qty and we all knew it.
Also, to Jim's email, just because Josh sends out an email with pricing and no comment on limited qty is also silly. Does Walmart put in their ads, we only have 100 of these? or BO on their site put a limit on how many cases, does it say limit of X amount or qty limited. Other retailers emails and posts prices too. I order very large qty and work with Josh knowing sometimes I might be limited but Josh always comes through and is upfront. This is a first and I will keep buying from him and have zero concerns about him or his business practices. In my opinion, he handled it great from the start. He and I talked about it. He could have told everyone he did not have it since he had no allocations yet, but he was getting dozens of requests, so he was upfront with us. And his prices were well below market by some $300. If he would have held back, many would have said, oh Josh is just holding jumbos so he can price them later for 2-3x as much, which was not and is still not the case. he has very limited qty coming.
Again, the only ones saying anything aren't even involved and allstars is competition so I understand it easy to point the finger. Nothing personal, just don't get the circles we seem to be going in...pointless at this time.
