I was rooting for the Reds, Orioles, and Nationals to pull it out in their series. I was hoping those three plus Detroit would be in the Championship Series so we would have a new WS champion this year rather than seeing the Yankees, Giants, or Cards in it again since those teams won it in 09, 10, and 11, respectively.

I'm a Tigers fan so I'm pulling for them anyway, but as a fan of the game I'd like to see them win it just because they're the only remaining team who hasn't won a championship within the last three years. I like their chances too, I think they matchup very well with NY and I think the AL will win it regardless of which team is their representative this year...but we'll see!

I wanted the Reds, O's, A's, and Nats to advance, so maybe if I hope the Yankees will win, one of the other 3 teams will and I can feel good about being the sole reason why someone other than the Yankees won.

But seriously, I am pulling for the Tigers to win. If they can do it, than someone else would be nice.
