Curios to see people's opinion on Topps products. Going over the products they've released this year seems like alot of the products are redundant and that it could easily be streamlined to make it better. Here's a list of Topps products released this year:
Bowman
Bowman Chrome
Bowman platinum
Bowman Sterling
Bowman Draft
Pro Debut
Heritage Minor League
Heritage High Numbers
Heritage
Allen and Ginter
Gypsy Queen
Archives
Topps Chrome
Finest
Topps Mini
Topps series 1
Topps series 2
Topps Update
Opening Day
Tier 1
Triple Threads
Five Star
Tribute
Museum
For me, seems like it would make more sense to combine Bowman and Draft into one product and release it in two series but make it more like base Topps cards. I'd then have a Bowman Chrome that parallels Bowman, just as Topps Chrome parallels the regular set. I'd then combine Bowman Platinum and Sterling into one high end prospect based product and get rid of pro debut. I'd combine and condense the three Heritage products and do the same for Gypsy Queen and Ginter. As for the high end, I'd probably drop Triple Threads, keep the others but improve the quality control for each. All other products I would probably keep and with the room made add a Topps Total kind of product and maybe another. What do you guys think? What would you guys do?
