Nice posts, guys! I can't help on the Beckett issue, but their price guide is as messed up as their forums, so it makes sense! :D
Jony Gwynn is classic! Never seen one of those! And Mother f*ckin Tony F*ckin Gwynn...who says that?

Sweet Gwynn Goodwin auto! Great card, I agree!

The seller also had a Jed Williams from the same set for sale lmao The T's kind of look like J's but holy shat, how do you not know who Tony and Ted are? Lol

A 98 black diamond bat card came up at auction for a good price but I forgot to bid on it. This card is one of my most wanted. Doh!

Hey! The four-screw holder makes the card look so much more expensive!!

Got this off COMC, too, along with those in the 90's thread. I knew if I waited I'd get this 2012 Topps Mini for less than $10...($6):

Have any of you Gwynn Hunters read "Men At Work, The Craft of Baseball"? I'm only part way through but it's a book that delves into the depths of baseball. It is written by George F. Will. He looks at baseball through the eyes of the manager, pitcher, outfielder and infielder i.e. Tony La Russa, Orel Hershisher, Tony Gwynn, and Cal Ripken Jr. It's an excellent read so far and I have to rec it to any and all. If it's old news then my apologies.

Here's a scan of the Gwynn Crusade. It's my first crusade so now I see what all the commotion is about, great looking card.
